Wabash River at Covington down to Vincennes. White River at Edwardsport...and at Hazleton. .Minor river flooding continues tonight on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Riverton, with the crest between Terre Haute and Riverton...and on the White River at Edwardsport. Additional heavy rainfall expected late Sunday and Sunday night will lead to rising river stages early next week...with minor flooding also starting on the Wabash at Covington and Vincennes Monday night...and on the White River below Edwardsport on Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wabash River at Covington. * WHEN...Until Friday evening. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Five Crossings, a local county river park at old U.S. Highway 136 bridge site, begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 PM EDT Saturday the stage was 15.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Tuesday morning to a crest of 18.8 feet Wednesday morning.
