Wabash River at Covington down to Vincennes. White River at Edwardsport...and at Hazleton. .Minor river flooding continues tonight on the Wabash River from Montezuma down to Riverton, with the crest between Terre Haute and Riverton...and on the White River at Edwardsport. Additional heavy rainfall expected late Sunday and Sunday night will lead to rising river stages early next week...with minor flooding also starting on the Wabash at Covington and Vincennes Monday night...and on the White River below Edwardsport on Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Edwardsport. * WHEN...Until Sunday, June 28. * IMPACTS...At 17.5 feet, Flooding closes Old Vincennes Road. High water crosses SR 358 on the Daviess County side just west of the levee. Flooding begins to affect higher bottomlands. Residential property of river cabins begins to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:00 PM EDT Saturday /6:00 PM CDT Saturday/ the stage was 15.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:00 PM EDT Saturday /6:00 PM CDT Saturday/ was 15.5 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 15.6 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon to 12.2 feet early Tuesday morning. It will rise above flood stage Wednesday morning to 17.7 feet Friday morning.
