...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Indiana...Illinois...
Wabash River at Hutsonville down to Mount Carmel.
...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
Indiana...
White River at Elliston.
.Flooding has ended on the White River at Elliston and Edwardsport.
Minor flooding continues tonight on the White River from Petersburg
down to the Wabash...and on the Wabash River from the Hutsonville
area down to Mount Carmel...where minor flooding began early Tuesday
evening. Tonight...the White crest will pass Petersburg...while the
Wabash crest passes Vincennes.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Hazleton.
* WHEN...Until late Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Floodwaters cover much low ground in
agricultural season. Low lying oil fields...Pottsville Road and
possibly a few other low rural roads flood. High water isolates
Pottstown, a river cabin community.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.3
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage late Thursday evening.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
