...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
East Fork White River at Seymour.
White River at Hazleton.
...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...Illinois...
White River at Petersburg.
Wabash River at Mount Carmel.
Wabash River at Vincennes.
.Widespread rainfall amounts of two to three inches over southern
Indiana through midday Saturday is expected to prolong minor
flooding or bring an additional crest on the lower White, lower
Wabash, and at Seymour on the East Fork White. Minor flooding could
continue into early next week on portions of the lower White and
lower Wabash.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...White River at Petersburg.
* WHEN...Until early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, Low bottomlands flood and flooding begins
on higher bottomlands. State Road 257 may begin to flood if
Shoals gage reading is over 17 feet. Private levees may be
overtopped in many cases.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 10:45 AM EDT Friday /9:45 AM CDT Friday/ the stage was
14.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late tomorrow morning to a crest of 19.5 feet Sunday evening.
It will then fall below flood stage early Wednesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
