* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Indiana, including the following counties, Gibson and Pike. * WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT /830 PM EDT/. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 133 PM CDT /233 PM EDT/, emergency management reported numerous roads flooded or washed out by earlier heavy rain and flash flooding. Between 5 and 10 inches of rain have fallen over the last 24 hours. - It will take a few more hours for any lingering flooding issued to clear up. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Princeton, Oakland City, Petersburg, Winslow, Patoka, Francisco, Somerville, Hazleton, Spurgeon and Mackey.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
