Patoka River near Princeton. .Additional heavy rainfall received across the basin will bump the Patoka River up near Princeton into moderate flood soon. It is now forecast to crest 1.2 feet above moderate, by Thursday evening, July 2nd. For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton. * WHEN...Until Tuesday, July 7. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.6 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise to 20.3 feet just after midnight tonight. It will rise to a crest of 21.2 feet by Thursday evening, where it will remain thru much of the following day, Friday, July 3rd. It will then begin to fall and is forecast to fall below flood stage Monday, July 6th. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
