...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois... White River at Hazleton. White River at Petersburg. Wabash River at Mount Carmel. .Minor river flooding continues through at least Wednesday...on the White River below the confluence of the East Fork White...and on the Wabash River at Mount Carmel. River levels in these areas will rise or remain near steady through at least Monday. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...White River at Petersburg. * WHEN...Until early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.5 feet, County Road 250 West from State Road 56 floods and blocks the vehicle access to Dodge City. During the March 2008 flood the river remained above this level from late afternoon March 19 through April 9. As mid-March 2011 high water was receding...SR 257 south of Washington reopened when Shoals was at 10.5 feet and falling steadily for the past 2 days. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:30 PM EDT Sunday /12:30 PM CDT Sunday/ the stage was 18.7 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 1:30 PM EDT Sunday /12:30 PM CDT Sunday/ was 18.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.0 feet tomorrow evening.
