...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...
Patoka River near Princeton
.Major flooding is now occurring on the Pakota River near Princeton.
The last forecast crest has slightly increased to 23.8 feet. This
would be a bit higher than the crest observed in April 2025 and
about a foot less than the flood of record, which occurred in May
2011. Major flood impacts are forecast to continue until Saturday
when water levels will begin to fall quickly.
For the Patoka River...including Princeton...Major flooding is
forecast.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday, July 08.
* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Flooding affects mainly farmland. Seasonal
camping trailers closest to the river become inundated.

- At 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 23.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:45 PM CDT Wednesday was 23.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.8
feet early Friday morning. It will then fall below flood
stage Tuesday evening.
- Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
24.0 feet on 03/16/2006.
