...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana... Patoka River near Princeton affecting Gibson County. .Major flooding continues on the Pakota River near Princeton. The river is cresting near 24.0 feet. This is slightly higher than the crest observed in April, 2025, and almost a foot less than the flood of record, which occurred in May, 2011. Major flood impacts are forecast to continue through this weekend, after which water levels are expected to fall more significantly. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Patoka River near Princeton. * WHEN...Until late Thursday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 23.9 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Saturday was 24.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday morning and continue falling to 10.3 feet Tuesday, July 14. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
