Description:
At 1034 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles north of
Columbus, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Edinburgh, Princes Lakes, Peoga, Spearsville, and Taylorsville.
This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 74 and 85.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for central and
south central Indiana.
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
