Description:
At 901 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Batesville,
moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.
Locations impacted include...
Batesville, Brookville, Bright, Oldenburg, Lake Santee, Logan,
Blooming Grove, Sunman, Metamora, St. Leon, Laurel, Napoleon, Cedar
Grove, Mounds State Recreation Area, Huntersville, Hamburg, Penntown,
Interstate 74 at US Route 52, Peppertown, and Sharptown.
This includes I-74 in Indiana between mile markers 145 and 170.
Instruction:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
