At 938 PM CDT, Emergency management reported heavy rainfall and significant street flooding from previous thunderstorms across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Mason City, Nora Springs, Manly, Rockwell, Mason City Municipal Airport, Clear Lake, Ventura, Plymouth, Fertile, Kensett, Grafton, Hanlontown, Swaledale, Rock Falls, Burchinal, Portland, Bolan, Clear Lake State Park and McIntosh Woods State Park.
