Iowa River at Oakville affecting Louisa County. English River at Kalona affecting Washington and Johnson Counties. Iowa River at Marengo affecting Benton and Iowa Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Iowa River at Wapello. * WHEN...From this evening to late Saturday evening. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, Agricultural land near the river is flooded and water covers most islands. Water starts rising onto secondary roads in Wapello Bottoms. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 21.0 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.3 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
