Ioway Creek at Ames Lincoln Way affecting Story County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE...The Ioway Creek at Ames Lincoln Way, or from the Story-Boone County line to the South Skunk River. * WHEN...Until this evening. * IMPACTS...At 9.7 feet, Water affects W 190th St where it crosses Ioway Creek...west of the intersection with 510th St...or 2 1/2 miles southwest of Gilbert. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 10.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage by early this evening and then fall to 2.5 feet Saturday, July 11. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
