Counties.
South Skunk River at Colfax affecting Marion, Polk and Jasper
Counties.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...The Iowa River near Tama Hwy E49, or from Timber Creek
near Le Grand to Salt Creek near Belle Plaine.
* WHEN...From this morning to late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 12.8 feet, Water affects portions of C Ave and D Ave
from US 30 to the south.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 12.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this morning to a crest of 12.7 feet this evening. It will
then fall below flood stage late tonight.
- Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
