Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S affecting Clinton and Scott Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Wapsipinicon River near De Witt 4S. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.5 feet, Water affects old U.S. Highway 61 near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 11.4 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Monday was 11.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 12.5 feet early Thursday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Saturday afternoon. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
