* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa, including the following areas, in northwest Iowa, Buena Vista, Cherokee, Clay, Dickinson, Lyon, O'Brien, Osceola, Plymouth and Sioux. In west central Iowa, Ida and Woodbury. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches with isolated amounts exceeding 4 inches are expected.
