At 1239 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Rockford, or 13 miles southeast of Mason City, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Public. At 1239 PM CDT, a 72 mph wind gust was measured with this storm in eastern Cerro Gordo County. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe storm will be near... Rockford around 1245 PM CDT. Marble Rock around 1250 PM CDT. Charles City around 110 PM CDT.
