At 308 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Marble Rock, or 13 miles southwest of Charles City, moving southeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Emergency management. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Floyd County, including the following locations... Highway 14 And County Road B 60, County Roads B 60 And T 18, Roseville, County Roads 147 And T 34, County Roads B 60 And T 64, Oakwood, and Powersville.
