* Until 515 PM CDT.
* At 413 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Waterloo
Municipal Airport, or near Cedar Falls, moving southeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* Locations impacted include...
Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Evansdale, Jesup, La Porte City, Denver, Elk
Run Heights, Waterloo Municipal Airport, Crossroads Mall, Uni-Dome
And McLeod Center, Janesville, Washburn, Dunkerton, Readlyn,
Raymond, Gilbertville, and George Wyth State Park.
This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 56 and 73.
Instruction:

building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for central,
north central and northeastern Iowa.
