* WHAT...Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Northeastern Johnson County in east central Kansas... Northeastern Wyandotte County in northeastern Kansas... Southwestern Clay County in west central Missouri... Northwestern Jackson County in west central Missouri... Southeastern Platte County in west central Missouri... * WHEN...Until 515 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 344 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. An additional quick quarter to half inch of rainfall is likely as more thunderstorms move through the area within the next half hour. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
