At 127 PM CDT, the public reported flash flooding in the Harrisonville area, with several roads quickly inundated with water. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Though heavy rainfall has ended, it will take some time for water to recede. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Belton, Raymore, Gardner, Harrisonville, Paola, Spring Hill, Peculiar, Osawatomie, Louisburg, Edgerton, Archie, Lake Winnebago, Drexel, Cleveland, Freeman, Lake Annette, West Line and Chiles.
