Description: 
At 1059 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles west of Longford, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail damage to outdoor objects and vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Wakefield, Manchester, Longford, and Oak Hill.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Strong winds with this storm will occur before any rain or lightning. Do not wait for the sound of thunder to go inside. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for north central and northeastern Kansas.
