At 717 PM MDT/817 PM CDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 12 miles north of Wray to 5 miles west of Haigler to 3 miles north of Bonny Reservoir, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. These severe storms will be near... Haigler around 720 PM MDT. St. Francis around 830 PM CDT. Bird City around 845 PM CDT. Benkelman around 745 PM MDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Wheeler and Parks.

Do not wait for the sound of thunder before taking cover. SEEK SHELTER IMMEDIATELY inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows. These thunderstorms will produce strong winds resulting in areas of near zero visibility in blowing dirt. Use extreme caution if you must travel and be alert for rapidly changing visibility.
