...The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas... Ninnescah South Fork near Murdock affecting Kingman County. Ninnescah River near Peck affecting Sumner and Sedgwick Counties. Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine affecting Sumner County. Arkansas River at Arkansas City affecting Cowley County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine. * WHEN...From Monday morning to Tuesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water overflows roads in the Timber Brook Estates that are located just west of Highway 81 and north of K55. Then three-fourths of a mile north of K55 on Highway 81, water begins to cover the road. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - There is no current observed data. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 23.5 feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
