...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Kansas... Ninnescah River near Peck affecting Sumner and Sedgwick Counties. Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine affecting Sumner County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 26.0 feet, A section of K55 floods to a depth of 2 feet of water starting from 300 feet east of the river bridge and expanding out to 25 feet wide. Expect flood waters on Highway 81 to expand further south to the Y intersection of K55. The small community of Ponderosa Estates, 5 miles northwest of Belle Plaine, will have a few homes flooded and roads leading into the Estates flooded. Timber Brook Estates will have roads inundated by over a foot of water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:28 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 20.2 feet and rising. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 25.9 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning. - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
