Ninnescah South Fork near Murdock affecting Kingman County. ...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Ninnescah River near Belle Plaine affecting Sumner County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ninnescah River near Peck. * WHEN...Until Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, The north approach of the river bridge is flooded. Flood waters begin to spread to a width of 1 mile along the north bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 16.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this afternoon to a crest of 21.5 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.

Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
