For the Sappa Creek...including Norcatur 15ne, Oberlin 1sw...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Sappa Creek at Oberlin 1sw. * WHEN...Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water spreads over agricultural fields and low lying areas with actual water depth in creek at about 6 feet. At 15.0 feet, Moderate flooding will occur in nearby agricultural fields and low lying areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:50 PM CDT Monday the stage was 14.5 feet. - Bankfull stage is 11.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 12:50 PM CDT Monday was 16.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 6.5 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 11.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 13.0 feet on 05/24/2008.
