...The National Weather Service in Wichita KS has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Kansas... Salt Creek At Barnard affecting Lincoln County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Salt Creek at Barnard. * WHEN...From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 24.0 feet, Expect flooding of agricultural fields to an extent of 3/4 of a mile coverage. Flood waters cover Highway 284 east of the creek bridge to around 260th Road, expect road closure. Numerous roads along and near the Salt Creek flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage this evening and continue rising to a crest of 24.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
