Kansas...
South Fork Ninnescah River near Pratt affecting Pratt County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...South Fork Ninnescah River near Pratt.
* WHEN...Until late tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 9.0 feet, Expect overflow of banks. Stream overflows
narrowly on the left bank and more broadly on the right bank.
Stream is approximately 260 ft wide at this stage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 9.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 2:00 AM CDT Friday was 9.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
early this morning and continue falling to 3.4 feet early
Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.3 feet on 08/17/2010.
