* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kansas, including the following counties, Butler, Harvey, Reno and Sedgwick. * WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 346 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated high rainfall totals due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wichita, Hutchinson, Derby, Newton, El Dorado, Andover, Haysville, Augusta, Park City, Valley Center, Bel Aire, Goddard, Rose Hill, Maize, Halstead, Sedgwick, Towanda, Colwich, Haven and Burrton.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
