* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kansas, including the following counties, in south central Kansas, Butler. In southeast Kansas, Greenwood. * WHEN...Until 715 AM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 348 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated high rainfall accumulations due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Eureka, Leon, Madison, Hamilton, Rosalia, Cassoday, Virgil, Eureka City Lake, Eureka Airport, Thrall, El Dorado State Park and El Dorado Lake.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
