Verdigris River at Coffeyville affecting Montgomery County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Verdigris River at Independence. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 36.0 feet, Some flooding of low lying areas and bottom land can be expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 2:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 12.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 35.5 feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
