Ninnescah River near Peck affecting Sumner and Sedgwick Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Ninnescah River near Peck. * WHEN...From this morning to early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 21.0 feet, The north approach of the river bridge is flooded. Flood waters begin to spread to a width of 1 mile along the north bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 18.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.9 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
