* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Kansas, including the following county, Neosho. * WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Local law enforcement have reported water rescues. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1148 AM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Chanute, Erie, St. Paul, Thayer, Galesburg, Earlton, Lake Parsons, South Mound and Chanute Airport.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
