* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Portions of south central and southeast Kansas, including the following counties, in south central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Sedgwick and Sumner. In southeast Kansas, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding and streams continue to rise. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1202 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 6 inches of rain fell overnight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Derby, Winfield, Mulvane, Neodesha, Fredonia, Douglass, Belle Plaine, Yates Center, Oxford, Udall, Howard, Burden, Altoona, Moline, Longton, Toronto, Severy, Buffalo, Grenola and Atlanta.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
