* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kansas, including the following counties, Butler, Harvey, Reno and Sedgwick. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1221 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain fell overnight. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flood waters are beginning to recede, but it will take some time for roads to re-open. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Wichita, Hutchinson, Derby, Newton, El Dorado, Andover, Haysville, Augusta, Park City, Valley Center, Bel Aire, Goddard, Rose Hill, Maize, Halstead, Sedgwick, Towanda, Colwich, Haven and Burrton.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
