Slate Creek At Wellington affecting Cowley and Sumner Counties. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Slate Creek at Wellington. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 23.5 feet, Expect extensive cropland and field flooding along the creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 PM CDT Friday the stage was 23.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 4.8 feet Wednesday evening. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown.
