* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Chautauqua, Labette and Montgomery. * WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1240 AM CDT, trained weather spotters reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing. Between 2 and 8 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Coffeyville, Caney, Dearing, Tyro, Havana and Niotaze.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
