...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas... Walnut River at Arkansas City affecting Cowley County. Walnut River at Winfield affecting Cowley and Butler Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Walnut River at Arkansas City. * WHEN...Until late Monday morning. * IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Considerable flooding of farmland is expected. Widespread flooding of the park just upstream of the gage site is anticipated. East Chestnut Avenue east of By-pass is closed due to water over roadway. Greens Farm Road floods between Highway 166 north to Dunbar Hill. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 20.3 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 21.2 feet this evening. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
Instruction: 
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't drown. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Additional information is available at www.weather.gov.
