Walnut River at Winfield affecting Butler and Cowley Counties. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Walnut River at Winfield. * WHEN...Until Monday morning. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 23.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.4 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades.
