...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...
Ninnescah South Fork near Murdock affecting Kingman County.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.
* WHERE...Ninnescah South Fork near Murdock.
* WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning.
* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Minor flooding occurs along the right
upstream bank affecting pastureland and along left downstream bank.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 8.3 feet and falling.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
late this evening and continue falling to around 5 feet on
Tuesday.
- Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
Instruction:
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Do not drive into flooded areas or go around barricades. Nearly two
feet of water will carry most vehicles away. Turn around, don't
drown.
