Southern Sumner County in south central Kansas... * Until 1230 AM CDT. * At 1128 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles northwest of South Haven, or 9 miles southwest of Wellington, and is nearly stationary. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Wellington, Caldwell, Argonia, South Haven, Mayfield, Milan, Hunnewell, and Perth. This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 1 and 16.
