Description: 
At 810 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 miles north of Colby to 5 miles east of Oakley to 8 miles north of Shields, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Public. Estimated 70 mph winds were reported 3 miles west of Gove City at 811pm. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. These severe storms will be near... Grinnell, Gove, and Gem around 815 PM CDT. Menlo around 820 PM CDT. Grainfield and Rexford around 825 PM CDT. Park around 835 PM CDT. Hoxie and Quinter around 845 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include The Monument Rocks, Angelus, Mingo, Halford, and Seguin. This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 48 and 112.
