* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Kentucky, including the following counties, in east central Kentucky, Estill. In southeast Kentucky, Breathitt, Lee and Wolfe. * WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 429 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rounds of heavy rain are expected over the next few hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Beattyville, Fincastle, Whynot, Old Landing, Mount Olive, Pinnacle, Willow Shoals, Yellow Rock, Crystal, Proctor, Evelyn, Shade, Maloney, Texola, Pryse, Leighton, St. Helens, Airedale, Primrose and Alumbaugh.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
