* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the following counties, McCreary and Wayne. * WHEN...Until 700 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 411 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers and thunderstorms moving repeatedly over the same locations. Minor flooding of small streams and creeks, roads, and roadside culverts is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Co-Operative, Great Meadows Campsites, Griffin, Parmleysville, Blue Heron, Burfield, Mount Pisgah, Stearns, Pine Knot, Strunk, Slickford, Hidalgo, Powersburg, Sunnybrook and Hollyhill.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
