* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of south central Kentucky, including the following counties, McCreary and Wayne. * WHEN...Until 1000 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 639 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Rain rates will approach 2 inches per hour at times. Excessive runoff will cause minor flooding of small streams and creeks, roads, and roadside culverts in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Monticello, Whitley City, Gregory, Denney, Kidds Crossing, Coopersville, Slavens, Ritner, Barrier, Rockeybranch, Delta, Oil Valley, Steubenville, Cooper, Wiborg, Parkers Lake, Marshes Siding, Stearns, Parnell and Susie.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
