...The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a Flood
Advisory for the following rivers in Kentucky...
Cumberland River At Burkesville affecting Cumberland and Monroe
Counties.
.Heavy rain from the past few days has caused the river to rise.
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Cumberland River at Burkesville.
* WHEN...From this morning to just after midnight tonight.
* IMPACTS...At 43.0 feet, Water approaches low lying areas along the
river and tributaries such as John Lee Fox Lane, Cloyd williams
Rd, Cloyds Landing Docl and Eva Young Rd.
At 44.0 feet, Willis Creek Rd, Irish Bottom Rd and Old Galloway Rd
flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 43.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 42.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will oscillate below flood stage with a
maximum value of 45.5 feet this afternoon.
- Action stage is 43.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 46.0 feet.
