Description:
At 753 PM EDT/653 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms 11 miles northwest of Elizabethtown, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Elizabethtown, Shepherdsville, Pioneer Village, Radcliff, Hillview,
Vine Grove, Lebanon Junction, Hebron Estates, Muldraugh, and New
Haven.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
