At 131 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heaviest rainfall had exited the area; however, excessive runoff from previous heavy rainfall will continue to cause localized flash flooding in low lying areas. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... McKee, Booneville, Boone, New Zion, Turkey Foot, Privett, Mummie, Green Hall, Earnestville, Wild Dog, Elian, Gray Hawk, Lakes, Wind Cave, Bradshaw, Macedonia, Travellers Rest, Sturgeon, Vincent and Endee.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
